Future

Reconstruction, adaptation and restoration of the building in 46 Knez Mihailova Street will start in 2010, and the Belgrade Heritage House will only become fully functional
once it moves into its own building.

The project for adaptation, reconstruction, conservation and restoration of the civic house in 46 Knez Mihailova Street was prepared by the Belgrade City Institute for
Protection of Cultural Monuments.

The project by architects Aleksandra Ševic (facade) and Bojana Ðurovic (interior), was presented at the May Salon 2005.

After reconstruction, the Belgrade Heritage House will possess a large exhibition space and gallery (total surface area of the building is 1,300 m sq) for displaying objects in a permanent exhibition of artwork bequeathed to the City of Belgrade.
